The College Inn is located just across the street from the University of Washington campus and is a short distance, via several bus lines, from the Convention Center, Capitol Hill, Fred Hutcheson, Children's Hospital, Pioneer Square, Safeco Field, Pike Place Market, and the Seattle Center. Built for the 1909 Alaska-Yukon Exposition, the College Inn offers old- world charm and hospitality amid the urban conveniences of Seattle's University District. Numerous shops, restaurants, and the University Village shopping center are blocks away. This historic building is actually a complex that includes the hotel, the Cafe Allegro, the College Inn Pub, the Easy Shoppe convenience store, and the Bean and Bagel coffee and lunch stand.
The College Inn has 27 guest rooms, each with its own washbasin, mirror, and an eclectic decor. The rooms do not have private bathrooms; rather there are separate men's and women's bathroom and shower facilities provided on each floor. A generous continental breakfast is served in the 4th floor lounge, where you'll find a relaxing place to read, sip hot chocolate, and visit with fellow travelers. The friendly staff will be happy to talk to you about how to get around the city, places to eat, etc. The College Inn Hotel is a non-smoking facility.
